About the artist:

The designs are the brainchild of myself, Anthex. Having spent over 30 years studying concept art and composition, mainly in music, I began creating AI art in 2023. I realized quickly that AI art eroded the concept of execution. For instance, you no longer need to be able to paint like Van Gogh to generate an image in his style. Therefore, the serious question arises…how can art survive when the medium can so easily be reproduced? And how will we know what real art is in the future?

The answer lies in what we feed into the AI. The core concept of an image still lies with the creator. Art can still occur; the images can still provoke deep thought and, crucially, an emotional response. The harder you push the AI, and the weirder the inputs into the system, the stranger and more beguiling the results.

Whilst we may be prone to fear future interactions with AI, artists should, and will, (as they always have), adapt to the changing conditions. These are new frontiers, and with Twisted Multiverse, the intention in to conjure new worlds that play with our existing understanding of the physical and emotional universe.
